A HIGH FIDELITY PROJECT

This project was started and completed between June-August 2024 as a part of HCC’s Advanced Kitchen & Bath Design class. This semester we focused on the kitchen and did as much work as we could, considering the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl in the Houston area. This project follows the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s guidelines for documentation and planning and was submitted to the Association’s Texas Gulf Coast chapter for their annual student design competition.

The vision for this project was creating a minimalist kitchen for a 20-something UX/UI designer who is single, childfree and enjoying her life in the city. ‘High Fidelity’ in the UX/UI world refers to creating a prototype that is of such high quality and detailed, it could be the finished product. Essentially, you are hyper-focused on the details and making a great project.

Please click on the button below for my complete submission to NKBA, which includes a design concept, mood board, construction documents, renderings and specifications.

This project was completed with the use of AutoCAD, Revit and Enscape.
